After working with Luke Reichle, Without a Trace Costumer and attending his Secrets of the Red Carpet Style Workshop and as a self described Eccentric Glamour Girl as described by Simon Doonan, author of Eccentric Glamour and the Creative Director of Barney’s New York I would like to share some of my favorite fashion tips from all I have gleaned both in Hollywood and in Scottsdale.

1 – Say No to Ho:  How to find your own signature style without always bearing it all. 

3 – Stop being a clone of everybody else:  Buck the trend of pricy designer bags, they are officially out! Find a bag that’s fun and screams YOU! Stick with it!  End HAGS (Hysterical Accessory Gathering Syndrome) now!  Buck the trends all together, if something’s in, DON’T wear it!

I don't want to dress you.

I've dressed a lot of people. At last count nearly 250,000--most of them regular people—everyone just looking to look good.

But, I don't want to dress you.  Sorry, but that's not my mission.

I can certainly do it.  I've made an Oscar winner look like a Texas housewife, or an Ann Arbor accountant look like an action hero.  I've dressed hundreds of movie extras in the middle of Time's Square.  It's easy for me.  I've been doing it for over twenty years.

But like I said, I do not want to dress you.

I can hand you a dress (or a suit) or I can teach you to dress.  Which do you think will serve you best in the long run?
